Dreamily Dreaming

And sometimes, even I get blessed …

Home, Sweet, Home -Tulips of Connection

Dreamily Dreaming
by Michael Romani

There's no small change
In the love that you give
Instead, there's an uneven exchange
In what we each forgive

In your example, I learn your ways
Offered up dreams and shadow plays
I am so happy that you came back
Because without you, there is only lack

I woke to find your note
Drinking in all that you wrote
Smiling for the first time in days
Dreamily recounting how you amaze

The smile in my eyes
Comes as no surprise
It's a reflection of you
And all that you do

Dreamily dreaming
The dreams that you bring
Happily beaming
As I smile and you sing
