In This House (We Make Our Home)

There are houses and there are those that become homes…

Home, Sweet, Home - A Meeting of Angels

In This House (We Make Our Home)
by Michael Romani

In this house, we set the tune
Daring other to match so soon
As reckless as we care to be
Sailing ships on life's stormy sea

Hiding from no one in our being
All that we dream of meaning
Desire sets fire; alive as we are
Strings strummed on a Spanish guitar

Dream child
And it's on with the show
Scream child
Let yourself go

Love child
Like you've never loved before
Wild child
Make them beg for more

An apple served with serpentine kiss
Not a hair out of place; but something is amiss
Like a dancer in the ballroom of imagination
Your every touch tantalizes my fascination

Madness becomes the sadness that we are
Harmonizing strings on this old guitar
Rumors have it that I haven't been myself
Since sipping the nectar off the top shelf

Dream child
And it's on with the show
Scream child
Let yourself go

Love child
Like you've never loved before
Wild child
Let them beg for more
