Everything Is the Beginning of A Poem by Michael Romani Everything Is the Beginning of A Poem Every little sound All the sights that abound All the love that is around All that I revel in Everything that does surround Taking me back again and again Everything Is the Beginning of A Poem All the mental places I try to find All the little places that I've left behind All of these impressions on my mind All that I revel in All of this kind and that kind Taking me back again and again Everything Is the Beginning of A Poem My world fills with saturation and meaning My world drills deep down into my dreaming All so real, yet surreal and yet seeming That all that I revel in Stream of consciousness streaming Taking me back again and again Everything Is the Beginning of A Poem I write out of love and I write out of fear I write of my joys while shedding a tear I write of the far wanting to keep it near That all that I revel in Day in, Day out; year after year Taking me back again and again Everything Is the Beginning of A Poem (c) April 8, 2017 Michael Romani
