The challenge for today is to write a poem using alliteration…. hmmmm
Boom Goes the Bomb by Michael Romani Bombastically brought - boom goes the bomb As a snowflake shivers, dreading what we deliver Shake it up, wake it up - boom goes the bomb Radicals really don't realize as they cry a river Crash go the caverns down on the terrorist threat You know, I wonder - if they can hear us yet? Muttering Mahdist migrants murder our sisters and our mothers While worriers in safe zones simply simper with their brothers Where do you wander when there is nowhere neutral left to run Gotta to get going if we're going to pay the play to outgun Are able enablers enjoying what appeasement always brings Fearers fear and terribly tremble while brave warriors sing Moribund munitions that only a mother could love Drop down deadly reigning fear from above We warriors didn't bring this terrible broken fight But we sure will do those things that will end it right Huddled howlers have had their momentous moments Time for these terrorists to face up to their torments (c) April 13, 2017 Michael Romani
