“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
To conform yourself to a world that is depraved and growingly increasingly sick in how it operates and functions is in a sense to imprison yourself in bonds ill suited toward your growth. Personal and spiritual development require the courage to allow yourself to grow into all that you can be. In doing so, you have accomplished much that many do not.

In today’s modern society we increasingly find ourselves enveloped by group think and refusal to accept the viewpoints of those who are identified and detracted as being something other. This is unfortunate. In my life, I have found that God created two ears and one mouth. He did so for a reason. That we might learn twice as much as we assert into the world. We should always be open to dialog and the ideas that counter popular beliefs. History is resplendent in all of its moments when this was refused only to find that maybe we should have listened more.
Areas of my own current concern is this huge move of political correctness and asserting that news that counters our own is ‘fake news’. This cheapens the free market place of ideas. For that reason, I am adamantly against it.

Great advice.
