The most cunning opponent
That I have ever met
Is there in those moments
Filled with doubt and regret
When I doubt my self-mastery
And give into the mystery

Found in the self-closing door
That even I can't ignore
The double-edged sword of anxiety
Slices into my troubled sympathy
Always questioning what I bring
Always hoping to do the right thing

The burden of my imposed cage
Disguised in masked over rage
My choices reveal who I am
Delivered with the strength of Bedlam
I fight this battle with all I dare
Healing my pain with your urgent care
