“We need diversity of thought in the world to face the new challenges.” – Tim Berners-Lee, Inventor of the World Wide Web

In reading through some interesting thoughts from Mr. Berners-Lee this morning, I found much to think on.  Two things first to me are the following.  First, I suppose this settles it that Al Gore did not invent the internet.  Oh wait, the thinking public knew this.  Second, was that here was this brilliant man who not only pushes for diversity of thought but that these diverse thoughts should be shared freely as possible with the rest of the world.  Here, I do not see the stuff of political correctness but the hope that in the free expression of diverse thoughts, humanity will find our solutions and overcome our adversities.   I could not agree more.
