Last night’s sermon was based on Jeremiah 33:3.  From this, I wrote the following:

Call To Me

God says call to me
I will answer thee
So very clearly
If you only call to me

Ask and it will be given
Drive until you're driven
Ask in His good name
He'll deliver you the same

These are His good ways
Throughout all our days
The way of truth and not a lie
Test of truth in His reply

God says call to me
I will answer thee
So very clearly
If you only call to me

No matter our hypocrisy
No matter our apostasy
His yes is yes; true to his word
Predictable and never blurred

Truth found in all probability
Depended on persistently
It's the yes of celebration
Treasured in anticipation

God says call to me
I will answer thee
So very clearly
If you only call to me

Forsake not the Assembly
Church home to you and me
Devoted to our Father's will
Faithful in how we think and feel

This is our family
Trusting in the sacred and holy
Search my heart, that you will know me
A life lived in true sanctity

God says call to me
I will answer thee
So very clearly
If you only call to me
