Perceptions of Magic
by Michael Romani
So many different angles of perception
Pop in and out of place in their reception
Wanting and begging proof where there is none
Can bring near certainty to become undone
How signs play out in and under the public eye
Is often more about choices than do or die
Self-congratulatory moments of immaculation
Bring a half fake nuance to any integration
There's always a little crazy in the creative
There in the root of madly going native
Where accuracy really no longer matters
And social conventions simply wait to shatter
Making magic even if only for precious moments
Is the life's breath of the artist's torments
There in an almost inexhaustible visuality
That drives beyond every challenge's adversity
... What can I make next?
