“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.” – Mahatma Gandhi

I can attest to this. When I laid in ICU for eight days overhearing that I was dead and they could not understand how I could still be alive, I mostly remember seeing the faces of my two princesses. That gave me the will to keep on. I could not die. I could not get much oxygen to adhere to my red blood cells. But, the biggest thought I remember from then was I could not and would not die. I loved and love my little girls more than life. I will live to see them happy and whole and living beautiful lives. I cannot and will not fail them. So, yes, I am for me my own evidence that it is our inner will that provides the greatest strength outside of prayer to God. The will to do overcomes adversity. Through will, as long as it is in accordance with the ways of God, all things are possible.
