This morning’s sermon was based on the Book of Romans 8:18-39 merged with the idea of seizing this day to do those things we really know we should.
Seizing My Day by Michael Romani Oh, just to begin again... Free from trouble and sin This is the perplexing turmoil That I am find that I'm in To seize the present To love and not resent Conquering my stress About things I do confess Being anxious about nothing Raising my voice as I sing Knowing the peace and joy Bringing love not to annoy Nothing goes well with stress As though a perpetual test Feeling too, too weighed down Certain I wear a jester's crown It's really down to a matter of choices The things we say in all of our voices Taking right perspective in how we see That will get us past all adversities God is present with each of us always Getting us through all of our days Each breath we take in every move made God is with us in every moment prayed Even days that I forget to turn and pray If I look around, God is vividly on display I must choose to be present with him In every moment moving beyond all whim There is no such thing as the random We know this as children of the kingdom Each thing is to produce God's good purpose Reliance on this is all that's left to us Each of us becoming God's planned intention In all of the things in life we could mention We need to look at the big picture every day To see it's fruition come true in every way The deeper life is each of ours for the taking Sharing, caring and being in lives worth making Each step to be accepted as toward the good Prayerfully giving up all for Him as we should (c) July 23, 2017 Michael Romani All Rights Reserve
