Desperately Clinging

Desperately clinging to hope
We know we are wrong
Dreaming these dreams
We knew were too wrong
We hang on and on
Desperate to somehow go on
No matter the cost
Even after all is lost
So desperate we have become
Paid out in a silent zero sum
Until we arrive
And we know that we are done
Letting go
We have come undone
We let go - 
Goodbye
The tears we cry
Are our one last goodbye
