Painting the Light

Bondi Beach - The Warmth of the Sun II

Painting The Light
by Michael Romani

Painting with the wind and light
As we dive into the dark of night
Building the colors in our minds
There in more details than we find
It is an enigmatic orchestration
Tossed into an ethereal creation
Turning the coldness of a death machine
Into a soft coral encrusted dream
Death in life becomes life from death
As the sun sets over what's left
Every scene captured as if the last
Cherished for its rarity with a gasp
Every moment remaining is fleeting
Deserving of the warmest greeting
Tomorrow always brings something new
Images of influence evidence the true
As an old lighthouse shines the way
Out across a deserted moonlit bay
