Time Spent With the Harvard Classics: On The Origin of Species – Darwin

On the Origin of Species also known as On the Origin of Species By Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races In the Struggle For Life and voyages on the HMS Beagle have already been significantly discussed.

For now due to time limitations today, I want to offer a discussion by a pro-Darwinist on Darwin’s correctness with respect to extinction.

My only comment is that I wish I would be around in 2100 to see if indeed half the known species will be extinct or not.   I am guessing not.  Or, at least, I am hoping not.
