Images and shadows
Seen through the windows
Death plays its card
As life comes on real hard

Never was what you wanted
Old dog; old school
This dog never hunted
Taking steps through broken rules

First you learn the rules
And then you break them
Separating the wise from fools
Still we forsake them

Living life through innuendos 
The right side only seen through windows
Down to my last card
I am throwing down hard

Never was what I wanted
An old dog in a new school
This dog is haunted
Breaking my soul of paint by number rules

You know, first I learned the rules
And then I broke them
Hard for me to separate the schools
So I just forsake them

First you learn the rules
And then they break you
Until you're reflected by fools
I should have never forsaken them
