“There is no cosmetic for beauty like happiness.” – Marguerite Gardiner, Countess of Blessington, in Desultory Thoughts and Reflections (1839), p. 90.

There’s a lot of truth in this statement. Also a lot of truth in the statement received from Amazon that if I don’t get three purchases in the next six months through their little plug in at the bottom of the plug, they’ll be removing our affiliation.
In the spirit of attempting to be the salesman that I am not, I am going to start making an effort to encourage folks to make some sort of purchase through Amazon. I will say this, they don’t say how much the sales have to be just three purchases. I’ve reviewed the site and I think we all know it’s a very legitimate company. The products are good and there is no additional cost to the consumer in clicking and purchasing. So, I’m going to ask that you all please see if there isn’t something there that you might like.
The book that the above quote for example is available through Amazon at:
So from now on, I will be adding a little something on the bottom of some posts to encourage the purchase of items that might just push deeper into thought and be a win-win for all. Thank you for time and consideration.
The link is available at the bottom of the home page on the blog. I don’t think we get any credit if you simply use the link I just posted. So, please enter through the appropriate portal (at the bottom of the page).
I really need some assistance with getting Paypal and crowdfunding possibly and perhaps some way to sell my nearly 16,000 photographs on Flickr.
Please know this is all going for two good causes. First, ensuring that I don’t become homeless. I am partial to that cause. Hope others are as well. Secondly, the reason I started this blog, I have been treated very unfairly in the local family law court and am trying to stay afloat while fighting to get more custody for my two girls from their mother who continues to not give adequate care to the girls except when I force her hand and to maybe get some relief from a court order that somehow gives my ex-wife approximately 70% of my day job’s pay check.
Yes, the local support guidelines cap support at 35% but the Court deemed it wise to drive me into poverty. I am nearing the point where reaching out to local charities is becoming a thought. My hope is that maybe my writing can earn me a reprieve from this. I am very sorry to ask for help. But, I am down to almost nothing. Please help.
Again the Amazon link is down on the bottom of the page … and if anyone can please help me figure out how to get the other options operable, I would deeply appreciate that assistance.
On an upbeat note, I have completed the 36 poems for the series of poems for each episode of the first season of The Twilight Zone and am going to attempt to get it uploaded into Amazon’s system as an ebook as well as 5 other books of poetry. I could use all of the help that I can get on this project as well. The problem is that I’m just one step above the cave paintings so far as tech goes. I am trying very hard to figure all of this out and I’m sorry if I sound like a Neanderthal in my capabilities. I am doing my best. Again this all goes to the cause of a father who loves his daughters immensely. So, please, I need a little help.
