In the fluff of a dandelion dream
I saw a hint of a certain sort of gleam
Where transfixed on your subtle gaze
I dreamed we might live for all of our days
We were there surrendered in our dalliance
Pierced by its simple but true elegance
Laying back making shapes out of the clouds
Me chuckling, tickling you, until you allowed
Creeping sunlight revealed a length of shadows
As the puff of dandelion floated where the wind blows
Echoes of wild streams bubble and flow
While your dreamy eyes go chasing after rainbows
There in this surreal calm of bliss
I cherished the relics of your remembered kiss
