The Godly perspective is steeped in mystery

Older than anything subject to chronology

More factual than any earthly mythology

And deeper than any manmade spirituality

As a consequence of this being true

There is a calling for me and for you

To come into relationship and fully connect

Stronger than godless man knows is correct

To come into an one on one relationship

Found only in prayerful worship

There in our silent and spoken prayers

Is the blade of truth that reveals the layers

It is only in the peeling back that all is stilled

And on this holy night, God’s majesty is revealed
