Take it from an old military man, there is no gremlin

Be it domestic or straight from the gated Kremlin

That should be allowed to destroy our sense of peace

Let’s find grace today and from our troubles release

At least long enough to share in the breaking of bread

Allowing memories of love and family to fill our heads

And forget at least for this moment and on this day

Any path but that of the truest sense of the American way

To hold our Lord in grateful supplication and thankfulness

For our turkey and ham or side of beefy wonderfulness

Let us toward our thoughts and hearts to tenderness

Let all of our words flow with love given in gentleness

Today is our day when along with seconds of blessings

We need to join together in humility and no second guessing

……….A wise saying says something like this and it’s something we should not miss

Let there be peace on Earth and let it begin with us….

……… We are given this moment and maybe never again to tell each other this
