Moments of Gratitude

In this moment of graceful gratitude
I approach all of life in a thankful attitude
Giving God all the honor and all the glory
This is my song and this is my story

Praising God every day is a wake up
Whether a slow start or a crank up
Each moment we find above ground
Thankful for all that we have found

Lifting my hands blessed in my praise
Lifting them on higher and higher we raise
There is something in the joy contained
In every moment we have gained

Opened doors through grace and mercy
Love abounds in truth and not heresy
In all the marvelous things He has done
Through Holy Ghost, Father and Holy Son

We lift the Father's name up on high
Reaching hands searching in the sky
For our God's loving, holy embrace
Seeing the truth sought, face to face

Thank you God for giving us your son
Thank you Jesus for all that you've done
We know that all of this will pass
And only God's love is meant to last
