Thankfulness Takes Root by Michael Romani It's not so hard to say Is it brother? Thank you God every day Do you feel it, brother? Every moment passes by And I have to wonder why Do you ever think about it Gratitude that seems to fit All the blessing that evolve When we learn to involve The life we take for granted All the words shared and ranted Gifts from God shared in blessing Never left wondering and guessing Needed faith in our every day Humbled thankfulness in every way The soil of thankfulness is fertile Do you think on this once in a while From this thankfulness we learn to lean Sprouting into the seldom seen There are points to be quietly made An order that we should not try to evade The creator has created the universe To be less than thankful is perverse From Him all has come to exist and be It's shown and very plain for all to see The intricacies of nature are so complex It's God's message that connects The dots of clear evidence of the facts Seen in all the beauty and in all of his acts Let it be seen by all who are born with eyes Be willing to see the Creator and recognize (c) November 29, 2017 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
