Truer words have never been said by the signer of my birth certificate.   Yep, Ms. Rice signed my birth certificate.  I was born in another nation of American parents and on the move to where I live now, someone actually broke into the SUV and of all the weirdness in the world, the only thing taken was my birth certificate.  The funny result of this was that when I had to get another certificate, Ms. Rice was one of a handful of people uniquely qualified to sign.  A piece of history that one day long from now I’ll share with my daughters to give them something to share with their friends and families as they grow up and maybe get a kick out of the life of their daddy.
