Aloha Promises Forever has previously discussed both Plutarch and his parallel biographies known as Plutarch’s Lives . In this post, we will discuss Alcibiades.
Alcibiades, son of Cleinias, lived from approximately c. 450 – 404 BC and was a prominent Athenian statesman, orator and general. He was from the Alcmaeonidae family which lost its position after the Peloponnesian War. He served a major role in the end of the conflict as strategic advisor, military commander and politician.
