Sonic Gems: Bing Crosby – Merry Christmas

On May 3, 1903,  Harry Lillis “Bing” Crosby Jr., was born to become a renown American singer and actor before his passing on October 14, 1977.  His signature bass-baritone voice helped him become of the best selling record artists of the 20th century. His laid back intimate singing style influenced many popular male singers who followed in his footsteps including Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Dick Haymes and Dean Martin among others.

Merry Christmas is a compilation album released in 1945 on Decca Records.  It includes the signature song White Christmas.  Even, if, the rest of album was not as great as it is, for this reason alone, Aloha Promises Forever rates this Christmas album a 10 out of 10.
