Time Spent With the Harvard Classics: Homer – Book XXII of The Odyssey

Aloha Promises Forever has previously discussed both The Odyssey as well as Homer.  These materials should be reviewed for further information.  With respect to today’s reading, please see below.

One fascinating facet of this tale is of course how the journey takes the travelers to many islands and lands.  Excluding the journey, the main part of this tale occurs in Peloponnese, Ithaca and its surrounding Ionian Islands.  There are also mentions of Troy, Phoenicia, Egypt and Crete.   A map of the journey is found here:
