Aloha Promises Forever has previously discussed the life and legacy of English poet John Milton.  On the Morning of Christ’s Nativity is an ode written by Milton in 1629.  It was first published in Poems of Mr. John Milton in 1645.  The poem details Christ’s incarnation and overthrow of earthly and pagan power.  The poem also illustrates the connection between Incarnation and Christ’s Crucifixion.
