Living This Love

Love Story: Season of Joy -Country Church

Living This Love
by Michael Romani

From my first silent, sharp cry
To my last drawn breath
Standing strong as time, I
Make my life a worship until my death

To live in this love
Whispered from God above
I stand in His mercy
Standing graced by His Divinity

Lived on point in my mission
Lived in joy in this position
Ready to answer the tough questions
Holding tight without hesitation

Always ready to please and praise Him
In a world filled with too many voices
Down to my last thought and never on whim
Steadily, I play out my choices

Prayed for in rich blessing
Never left second guessing
With linked arms together
We stand to make our world better

Streaked through with pessimism
Forced forward into optimism
We join to strive against racism
Offering love and not sarcasm

There in the pain of prejudice
Separated mostly by happenstance
There is a cruel hatred in this sin
One we must fight against and win
