We take in it all
celebrating an Octave
Of sacred Christian unity
That we might have
The linked arms of you and me

Leading to Holy Pentecost
A holy procession for the lost
In sacrificial devotion
High on the precious emotion
Fostering cooperation
All in sacramental devotion

An example of the hallowed
An example to be followed
In healing the division
The heresy that caused the schism
And tore into Christ's divided body
And constantly serves to taunt the Holy
