Crashed

If the world crashed to its end
I'd still be beside you my friend
If life was worse than death
And I was certain there was nothing left
Like Prometheus stealing God's fire
I would fight for you and never tire

I will always sing a song of hope
Even when dangling from a rope
If it meant being chained to a rock forever
I would remain and leave you never
I'll say that I love you until end of this planet
And with my last breath, say it again, damn it

Even when we seem to have lost all connection
I will pray to find the correct direction
Hoping against hope that we will meet again
And until then, keep you in my heart my friend
The time of the flame may be past
But, we will rise above these ashes and last
