Sorry, for the frankness of my summation.  Given that we cannot keep just piling on debt on our children and our children’s children, I get the point of Rand Paul’s protest.  In practical terms, it is certainty that we indeed are almost forced to pile on this additional debt.   But, when do we start pulling back a little and realizing that we are undermining the core of our nation’s future by wily nily adding on debt that our future generations have no ability to pay off.  Our country needs a major shifting of priorities.  Without a course correction this is simply unsustainable.
