Time Spent With the Harvard Classics: Dryden – All For Love, Act III

It is said that Mark Antony offered Cæsar his crown at Rome on February 15, 44 B. C.

We have previously discussed the life and legacy of English poet and playwright, John Dryden.  We have also discussed All For Love.  This tale as you will recall pertains the last hours of life of Antony and Cleopatra.  Act III in particular deals with Antony returning victorious from war and pursuing his romance with his Cleopatra.  You may read about this below.
