Where it comes from and what it is
Are the kinds of questions found in this
A Valentine's Day spent as meant
Filled with joy and little to regret

It seems love finds its way
To rebuild and renew love's sweet day
And here as we slowly dance
Our hearts find their way to romance

There is magic in your heart
Felt in the smiles of our start
There is warmth in your eyes
Soft and as rich as your vibrant sighs

I love that flow of gentle laughter
That I have felt since we met and then after
You truly mean me the very best
Learning that held by you, I can find rest

There in the sound of your sweet voice
Is the good love and knowing my right choice
You are a daughter of the islands I once knew
Like remembered waves on the shoreline, you are true

Calling me back to my younger days
Softly tugging my heart back to true love ways
I don't know where that you've been until now
But I do know where I want you now

You have been and are so very easy to love
As though brought into my life from above
So, on this day, I wish you to be my Valentine
And if so blessed, that you'll always be mine
