First Principles: Interference In Free, Elections Endangers Our Republic

“We should be unfaithful to ourselves if we should ever lose sight of the danger to our liberties if anything partial or extraneous should infect the purity of our free, fair, virtuous, and independent elections.”  – John Adams (1797)

If you think I’m talking about just things as insidious  as the increasingly improbable charge of the Trump campaign colluding with a handful of Russians you’re quite wrong.  What I’m referencing here today is the Leftist group Center For American Progress’ latest slash and burn attempt to deprive the American military overseas from voting.  The former accusation rests on a falsified dossier that was found to be just that by the very groups running the Mueller investigation.  Politics won’t allow that dead horse to be put to rest.

The latter is outrageous and true.  Within the pages of https://www.americanprogress.org/issues/democracy/reports/2018/02/12/446336/election-security-50-states/  is the call for voter suppression targeting our military troops while they serve our national defense abroad.  No surprise, this group has connections to George Soros.  No surprise at all.  While CAP fights for greater rights for felons and other disenfranchised criminals to be able to vote in our elections, they are now trying to infringe on the military members’ right to vote.  It’s an outrageous travesty and grossly underreported by the same group that decided that it was okay to have a 32 page memo under then Attorney General Reno calling all Veterans, myself included,  potential terrorists.
