Out In the Badlands Made Good
by Michael Romani
The tiger pushes the mountain
With the force of an eagle's claw
There under the red sun
And just before the silver moon
The palm of an angry iron fox
Leaps through like a monkey
Somewhere a leopard is stalking
Leaving its pad prints in the snow
A black heart in the silver mountains
Has the sting of a scorpion's tail
The nightingale sings no more
As the wolf's breath catches a dragon's fire
