Nevermind how this guy meant this.  It remains true.  A true man will love the woman who inspires him and protect her with all his heart and life and love.  I read this quote from a person who then explained to me this wasn’t the nicest sort of man and no one that I would ever seek to emulate in any way.  But even a broken clock is right twice a day.  This is his moment and I’ll give it to him.
