The Na/GloPoWriMo Day 22 challenge is to take a series of impossibilities and make them so. Alright.. I’ll give it a go.

The impossibilities posed as desired to be made possible are:

The sun can’t rise in the west.

A circle can’t have corners.

Pigs can’t fly.

The clock can’t strike thirteen.

The stars cannot rearrange themselves in the sky.

A mouse can’t eat an elephant.

Making the Impossible Happen

Given enough building blocks of materiality
There is a certain give to every modality
In which creative minds with just enough time
Can make the impossible happen and take it sublime

They say that the sun cannot rise in the west
The land of the rising sun puts this one to rest
Japan is so far west that it has become the East
And in so doing has made this challenge the least

They say that a circle can't have corners
Though it won't rhyme tell that to the world
A globe that is quite spherical has its corners
And in each of them is a surprise waiting to find

The wise have spoken that pigs cannot fly
Tell that to Pink Floyd and they'll laugh in reply
I still remember the Angel Stadium concert
Running by on the river tail and looking up as I exerted

A clock cannot strike thirteen it is spoken
At first I was going to go with a clock broken
But it occurred to me that 1 pm is 13 hundred hours
Oh I bet that answer made the judge of this glower

They say that stars cannot rearrange in the sky
I scratch my head and provide a telescope in my reply
The stars change at night and in so many ways
That I think the questioner has only seen days

Now comes real challenge in its very trickiest part 
How might a mouse eat an elephant a question taken to heart
Well, I've never seen that one done I most admit
But one bite at a time and I'm sure eventually it might fit
