Larger than life, it seemingly taunts
The dangling light the angler flaunts
As he draws smaller fish in rather cunningly
By pretending to swim somewhat sunnily
There in the darkness of the deep sea abyss
Though quite creepy, we wouldn’t be amiss
To point out that it seems quite the accident
To say this arose by circumstance and incident
And while scientific inquiry should play the question
I will also offer up with almost no hesitation
That the angler fish is a good indication
Of an example of particular fascination
That there is coherent argument for design
And the angler fish is evidence that fits in line
