Yesterday’s word prompt (I fell asleep again before finishing my postings for yesterday..my apologies. I have been so tired lately.)
Looking back on a life’s worth of memories
A simple man like me has so few mysteries
But, a lot of happiness attached to waves broken
And the quiet pleasures of words unspoken
At least until now as I try to pass them on to all
All my simple treasures that I’ll always recall
Like the happiness of the early morning sunrises
Greeted riding and gliding with sleepy eyes
A lifetime ago there was a boy with a pocket of dreams
That purchased this reality or so it is it seems
Looking back with so very little that I have to regret
Just a lot well meant times that I hope to never forget
And also moments of legacy to pass on to my girls
Who as everyone knows are truly the best of my world
