The Return of Prince Paris

Paris asks for the gates of Troy
To be part of the games that he enjoys
Staking his life that he might win
Against the princes of Troy and other men

Wrestling matches sprawl on city streets
Like newborn challenges he rises to meet
Men tied together at the twisted tether
Fight against madness to prove they are better

Hector and Paris fight until the blood runs down
The only blessing being that the wears his crown
For these are unwitting brothers in disguise
And this is soon revealed before the city's eyes

Still, the gods,.. the gods... do not forget
And the return of Paris is one Troy will regret
This miracle of Paris in returning to life
Is destined only to bring only days of blood and strife
