Based in part on The Great Wall movie…
The Great Fall by Michael Romani There is that nameless order There on every life's border There are changes to behold And with them, new stories to be told Though the greatest wall might crumble And a million men may fall and tumble We must find our way to truly trust That is the one thing that we must I find myself nearing the point of peace Where from this life I readily release All hopes of ever being the more Finding my comfort instead as one who is poor A thousand paper lanterns release into the sky Like poetry that provides grace as men cry There will be tales to come of this day This is my truth as wiser men are heard to say To my enemies, I wish you good cheer For the worse that you can do to me... I do not fear I sought only to defend my children And this father's love, you will never end (c) June 20, 2018 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
