Asked her what things she loved most about Autumn. Wrote this in response:
In Remembrance of An Autumn's Storm by Michael Romani Arriving home to her warm, sweet embrace She kisses me slowly dancing face to face We listen outside to all the storming clatter But inside, we are safe, and while thunder matters So do the lighted, scented candles she has lit This means all the world to me, I must admit Outside our home, the woodland winds awake As she whispers hope that while the tree shake When the frosty silence begins again to reverberate That she will still find the colors she appreciates Decorating with the beauty she loves to recall As they fill in our yard each and every passing Fall She worries a little about the pumpkin's smile While she giggles her loving and sweet denial That she has given the Jack O'Lantern my grin Causing me to do nothing less but to smile again I love to love this woman as I always will and do Each season's passing, passed with love so true (c) July 19, 2018 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
