Among the truths that remain self evident

There is especially on that is quite relevant

When so many declare God’s death so openly

They so at great peril for our republican society

For if there is no God on which man can rely

There is no stakeholder in this chaotic sty

If God does not give man these sacred rights

There is no declaration upon which we light

There is only man and what man gives

He can take away as easily as each man lives

Good intentions really count for nothing

When each regime change changes the thing

The thing for which we stand for in our hearts

And soon enough even civil society rapidly departs
