Knowing God's Good Favor

We lay down our burdens, coming as we are
Keeping our focus on Heaven as our North Star
Keeping in the truth of words we've spoken
He keeps His healing hand on all parts broken

There is no truer truth than He is Holy
Understanding this distinguishes the contrary
That none of us are worthy but for His mercy
Yet, because of His mercy we are part of His family

We seek to live righteous before God
To do that we might best live before God
Striving to do right even as we best might
Revealing our all before His righteous light
