Blue Print of the Grand Design

Taking on the armor of God as my protection
Withstanding the Devil's darkest intentions
Wearing a helmet of my undeserved salvation
Bearing the spirit's sword to split this fascination

There is great need for some sort of sketched plan
The blue print on and how to become a better man
Perplexed by the complex to find the grand design
This is the path of life to walk our way to being fine

The example set to model is our hopes to see
The ideal of what and who and where we want to be
Even the ways of faith need a path in life
That is if we want more peace and lot less strife

Temptation presses down hard against resistance
Coming at us never stopping in its persistence 
Word of God opens to tell us how best we live
Learning from the pages the best we have to give
