Shagwong Cover Resort - Blue Moon

Scraps of Poetry
by Michael Romani

You ask me what is about you
That makes this feel so true
You smile knowing
That I wish for a way of showing
Heartbeat is slowing
How do I tell you
That you're mind blowing

Cast under the spell of this full moon
You smile that it's too soon
I look into your eyes
As my soul sighs
Knowing only that I do
And want to walk this way with you

You allow me our first soft, tender kiss
As our lips touch it's as though I miss
And there's a sense of deep connection
Holding for your sweet direction
I dance upon our stage
Waiting for your page

Your page to turn
And for me to learn
How to help you feel safe in my arms
Fallen so deep in your charms
Your words mean everything to me
Your smile does that something to me
