Yes, Virginia, this is not the first time that the Press/Media has attempted to skewer a president alive.  If you doubt this, please review US history more carefully taking particular concern with Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln to name just a few who had it perhaps worse than others.
