Star of Wonder

A star shining so bright
There on that holy night
There in it's creation
A lasting symbol of jubilation

Dare we find this plausible
That God spoke all possible
And all came into its being
For this heaven and earth sings

There beyond our imagination
We find the power  and machination
Of all that we might believe
In the powers of God we conceive

One star burning so very bright
To lead the way that silent night
All of this holy prophecy
This miracle of reference in our history

Before man's eyes seeking rational
There in the outweighing supernatural
There in the slight Eastern skies
Was the resting star before waiting eyes

Looking for faith in our reference
We find the truth of Holy Providence
Wisemen followed the star to worship Him
Without skepticism and in praise, Amen

An opening of blessing in the night sky
Raising out of Jacob expects our reply
A miracle out of nowhere but by God's hand
There before us if we'd only understand
