All of us have something in our together that we don’t have separately. That’s how life is best lived, together. Joined at the soul where we belong. That thought was illustrated nicely in the last part of Mowgli. From it, came this word twist of a poem:
We Belong by Michael Romani Joined together We are strong Lived somehow better We belong To our last breath I'll breath you in Until my death Last breathed out Joined somehow In our souls Then as now Your presence consoles With the knowing Of where I belong In peace, breath slowing We are each other's song The darkness shimmers Into second light Joined as one heartbeat You are my second sight Speaks my soul of lasting peace As sun sets in my release And we walk this life together Into our dreams of something better (c) December 28, 2018 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
