“Lose no time. Be always employed in something useful. Cut off all unnecessary actions.” – Benjamin Franklin

This is not so much the ending of one year, as the beginning of the rest of your life. It is the time to take stock of where you have been, where you would like to be by end of the coming year and how to get there. The more you can break this down into smaller components along the way, the more ascertainable any goal or resolution that you set will become.
It’s a promise made to self. We all know, or should know, that a promise made is a promise made and as such it deserves to be kept absent unforeseen impossibility. One’s word is one’s bound, even or especially to oneself. So, then as the last Daily Thought For the Day of 2018, I offer this. In 2019, may each of us resolve to do what we ought and perform to our utmost what we resolve!
May God bless each and every one of the readers of this humble blog…
I pray this in Jesus’s name, amen
