Through A Window

Broken shadows seen through a window
Hopeful promises shine like a rainbow
Taken further than dreams often carry
A true born love that does more than bury

But, holds so strong into the night
Revealed from inside like a guiding light
Held onto with all our precious might
Convinced in our hearts of what is right

There is no more there in which to run
Dashing out with speed at the starter's gun
Risking all to be all that is just that
It's as natural as a meant to be fact

This truth that we are
Is the truth that carries far
Wished upon that shining star
Daring to be just who we are

Each of us has our own place
Each of us rich in God's embrace
And though it brings tears to my eyes
This is the only truth I'll ever recognize
